Why anyone would continue to feed their dogs anything made in China after the dog food scare of a few years ago is beyond me. We will not buy any food products from China, regardless of brand. It's not worth poisoning our pets or ourselves for whatever cost savings may be achieved initially.

This is nothing new. Foreign companies in China are discriminated against every day as the local mandarins favor and take bribes from domestic businesses. The government there is still stuck in the 19th century.

I generally agree with the sentiment that bankers have historically raped and pillaged the system and been unjustly rewarded for their behavior, and that this has got to stop.

What Apple is doing is being kind to the thief and cruel to the true owner. As the article states, that's the unintended consequence of having a relaxed policy on warranty exchanges.
